What started as a mission to eat all the kakigori in Japan became a full-blown Python project to track, rate, and visualize my dessert adventures across Japan. In this talk, I’ll walk you through how to efficiently eat every cute dessert in Japan based on reviews from Tabelog. This is a cute, data-driven app built with Python, Flask, and the Notion API that transforms a dessert obsession into a meaningful coding journey. Using web scraping techniques on Tabelog, geospatial mapping with Google Maps API, and a diary-style interface powered by Notion, I’ll show how this app turns personal cravings into structured data and joyful visualizations. You’ll also learn how to compare official ratings with your own, build playful tracking tools, and use Python to celebrate small moments of sweetness
