The castle tower is scheduled to close in March 2026. Now is the perfect time to visit, as it's the last chance to see it. From late September, nighttime illuminations and samurai events are planned, making for great photo opportunities. The Sannomaru area will be renovated in the spring of 2025, and will evolve into an easy-to-visit castle town with the addition of historical exhibits, cultural experiences, cafes, and shops. The new Hiroshima Station is scheduled for a grand opening in the spring of 2025. With around 180 shops, restaurants, and even a movie theater, it's a central hub in the city where you can enjoy yourself from the moment you arrive. After arriving by Shinkansen, you can immediately get some work done at a cafe, do some shopping before heading home, or if you have time, relax at the movies or rooftop plaza "Soramoa." It's not just a stopover on your way to Hiroshima, it's a base where you can enjoy your stay in itself.

In addition to photographs and timelines, the exhibits also feature numerous actual materials, providing a realistic portrayal of life and the thoughts of the people at the time. By purchasing tickets online in advance, you can enter smoothly even during busy times.
